Travel outside the Houston area is an extra fee.

Euthanasia and cremation

Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR): Texas law requires a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship before a veterinarian may diagnose, treat, or prescribe medication for an animal. A VCPR cannot be established solely through a telephone or electronic consultation. Dr. Lewis must first establish a valid VCPR, which generally requires an in-person examination of the animal or medically appropriate and timely visits to the premises where the animal is kept. Once a valid VCPR has been established, follow-up care may be provided through telemedicine when medically appropriate.
